In over 56 years of NYSOEA, there have been 33 presidents whose contributions to the field of outdoor and environmental education have been invaluable. Their steady leadership has led NYSOEA to where we are today: a diverse, dynamic, growing organization with an endowment over $100,000 and a very bright future. Several past presidents continue to play an active role in NYSOEA, chairing and serving on committees, attending conference and regional activities, leading workshops, and otherwise donating their time, talents, and resources in support of the organization.
