NORTHERN REGION DIRECTORTori DesRocher is the Watershed Education Coordinator for Lake Champlain Sea Grant at SUNY Plattsburgh, providing watershed science education to K-12 audiences and teacher professional development to classroom educators in the Lake Champlain basin. Here, she facilitates workforce development and the growth of the watershed educator program for undergraduate college students. Tori specializes in K-12 outdoor education and curriculum development to NYS educational standards. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies at Siena University and is pursuing a Masters of Science in Natural Resources and Ecology at SUNY Plattsburgh. Born and raised in the Northern Region of NYS, she is passionate about building a community around nature. In her free time, she enjoys cornhole, indoor and beach volleyball, and "herping" in the local streams. t
