Project WET/WILD Workshop
A one-day WET/WILD combined facailitator training on Monday, 6 October, from 10AM - 6PM in Manhattan (exact location is being worked on). If you are interested, please respond to baukerit@gw.dec.state.ny.us by 25 Sept.

Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) offering FREE model solar car training workshop to teachers, community educators, and youth club leaders! On Tuesday, October 7, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Somers Middle School in Somers, NY come learn about solar energy and the Junior Solar Sprint Program. Practice building a mini solar car! Gain training in leading your students through a highly motivating, unique learning experience. Your young engineers will deepen their understanding about solar energy, math, physical science, and craftsmanship. This project is appropriate for students in grades 5-8 and is a great opportunity for a class, after school, home school, or youth group! Teams can enter their cars in local design and race competitions with top winners invited to an annual Northeast championship!
